My Book Wishlist

I like losing myself in a good book. It’s very satisfying. That’s actually an understatement. Reading, for me, is a great journey that lets me be filled with so many intellectual, emotional, and spiritual lessons.

Sadly, I’m a bookworm with limited resources. Many people within my age group would rather spend their money hanging out with friends or shopping. But me? I’d rather splurge on books. Actually, I have quite a collection now; works from Paulo Coelho, Dan Brown, J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien, Nicholas Sparks, and more. But I still have quite a lot on my wish list. Want to know what are on my current list?

The Storyteller
The plot summary got me intrigued. Even the title itself is intriguing.

Bob Ong Book Set
I have read “Kapitan Sino” and “Bakit Baliktas Magbasa ng Libro ang mga Pilipino?” and they were very entertaining reads. I borrowed those from a friend. Now, I want to have my own copy and also try reading other Bob Ong titles.

Rules of the Game
It seems like an interesting read. Hope it’s not one of those Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus cliché books.

I hope I get to purchase all of them soon! Haha!

Yummy Local Movie-time Snacks

Tired of popcorn? Then try these tasty snacks that you can substitute for popcorn during movie nights. These are available locally and are very affordable. No need to break the bank! Enjoy these with family or friends.

Oishi Gourmet Picks – These tasty crisps come in Kimchi flavor, Natural Sea Salt flavor, and Wasabi & Nori flavor. These are available in big bags and single-person bags. My favorite is kimchi flavor. It’s not smelly but it has that distinct salty-sour taste. They don’t contain MSG, too!

One One Rice Snack – I’m not a fan of crackers but this one’s different. I love the original flavor and hot chili flavor. I dip them in salsa (Weird? I say tasty!). They’re not pricey, too. Plus, they’re 0% cholesterol since they’re baked, not fried.

Goya Malt Crunch – If you rather munch on sweets, this dupe for Maltesers may satisfy your sweet tooth. Very yummy, very affordable!
