The comfort in online shopping at Lazada- A Review

I just got a bonus from a project I’m leading. Usually, whenever I get extra money on top of my expected income, my wife and I have an agreement that I can keep it. Of course, that is, if it’s extra money on top of our bills. So I have the money.  I just recently bought a new Blu-ray player with home theatre speakers and a Sony Playstation 3. What’s missing on my entertainment room is a wide screen TV to maximize the usage of my electronics. You know, get the ultimate experience in entertainment at your home.

So I landed on a crossroad. I’m contemplating between buying a new Smart TV or buy a second hand car for my family’s spare vehicle for coding. To me, If we don’t have a family car already, I would have picked the second hand car in a heart beat. But since the main reason for buying it is for spare. I’d rather have something that I still don’t have. So I’ve decided to buy Smart TV instead. I chose it over LCD TV and LED TV since its more diverse or multipurpose. The more purpose an investment has, the more worth buying it is.

Now, I’m thinking where to buy the Smart TV. It was Monday. I had office work in the morning and afternoon. I figured I should just buy after my work hours when I arrived in the office early morning. So as the day went by, I was actually feeling tired. In order to somehow get off the sleepy feeling, I went online to check my Facebook just to keep me awake. As I was browsing my account, a AD banner caught my attention. They were selling Smart TV’s at low prices. So I clicked on the AD and landed me on the Lazada Philippines website.

I’ve heard Lazada PH before and knew that they were “The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall”. I even saw their TV AD one time at ABS-CBN. I knew already that they were a legitimate online business. As I went deeper on the website I was actually amazed on their website flow. It was easy to use and understand. Should you need to look for a specific item you can always try to use their search bar, which is very helpful rather than go on each category.

Finally I arrived on their Smart TV section. I was drooling on their selection. I didn’t know which one to buy, really! Finally, I ended up buying one of their LG 65" 3D Smart LED TV 65LM6200.  What’s good about buying from Lazada compared to traditional malls is that they actually offer “Cash on Delivery” with “Free Delivery” service. So I saved my time to drive to the mall and at the same time save money for car gas.

A couple of days later, my order arrived. I was actually surprised how they wrapped my package. When I removed the package wrap, even the box of my new Smart TV was actually on brand new condition, just like it came out from the factory.  Great job Lazada Philippines!
