An investment that’s really worth my money

As a single guy with a sizable disposable income, my goal is to eventually have enough money and investments that will take care of my day to day expenses without actually having to lift a finger to earn it. Hence I became enamored or should I say head over heels engrossed at anything that has something to do with investments and investing. My mantra has become money working hard for me and not the other way around. As a direct result of that fondness for investments and partly because of my reading of Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki books, I became obsessed with real estate investments as well. So began asking around to gather as much information as I can about the real estate industry. I talked to people, I read blogs and pretty much anything I could find about the subject. I am no professional, in fact I call myself as an armchair investor, a dabbler but I am really passionate about it.

During the course of my data gathering exploits, I came across a new development in Cavite City called the Lancaster New City which is formerly known as Lancaster Estates. I got it off http://www.youtube.com/user/profriendsweb  . This is a development by the now hugely popular Property Company of Friends, Inc. or simply known as Profriends. When I first saw that the Profriends name is stamped on it, I knew that it is a good development. It is a beautifully master planned city like no other I have seen before. It spans across three towns in Cavite namely Imus, Kawit and Gen. Trias. 

It is already a given fact that this is a good development. It has the standard menu of amenities that you would typically find in high valued, premium residential developments like the clubhouse, covered basketball and tennis courts, shopping complexes, church and swimming pools. However, the feature that captured me most is the integration of an I.T park or I.T hub into the community. This is the first time that I have seen such an amenity offered in a housing development if it is even appropriate to call it as an amenity. It is absolutely a good thing for the residents and would be residents of Lancaster New City because they will have the opportunity to work close to home which is a dream for most people who makes their living through employment. The I.T Park is called the Suntech iPark which is the first of its kind in the City of Cavite. Suntech will cater primarily to BPO companies looking to expand their operations in provinces near Metro Manila and to tap on local talents to work for call centers.  This is where the investment opportunity comes in for me. The property development expertise of ProFriends combined with the employment opportunities that will be provided by Suntech iPark makes for a prime real estate investment. That’s why I opted to get a fair-sized Alice model townhouse that I can use as a rental property that I could rent out to people who are going to work at the I.T Park. This is by far the best real estate purchase I have made and I am definitely happy with my decision. It is an investment that is really worth it.
