Mr. John C. Maxwell

Before having been given a gift some years ago of John Maxwell’s book titled “Partners in Prayer” by a good friend, I’ve heard people talk about his books with great compliments especially some good youth leaders I’ve met and have become friends with.

However I found it odd just now that when I received a copy of his book I mentioned, I wasn’t quite hooked to it. But I don’t blame the author, the writing’s really good and the writer’s very respectable since I have a good amount of testimonies from those who have read and are reading Maxwell’s books, I guess it’s on me. I didn’t have a good devotional life during those times.

Anyway, it’s a good thing that the book ended up on one of my youth’s hands. Eventually, the book’s effect on me turned to be an absolute opposite on him! So everything’s all good. But then, maybe when I get a copy of his book –and I just found one on the Internet, his 5 Levels of Leadership – the effect will be different by then. Title’s very interesting.
