Lazada Philippines: Ecommerce benefits to the online users

I’m sure by now we are all aware of the existence of online shopping as an option. We’ve seen how their online marketing efforts have flooded the online platform. Most of them are in the Ecommerce industry. This just proves that the industry is truly rising in the country. It can’t be overlooked that the rise of smartphone usage and the evolution of how technology and Internet increased the online audience dramatically. Competition in online malls started to show up and online shopping started to be noticed by local online users ever since Lazada came into the picture in the Philippines.

The growth of Ecommerce in the past was very slow a few years before they arrived in the country. For short, not all local online users regarded online shopping as an option to their shopping needs. They usually buy second hand items at local online classified ads by most local online users. For customers who want to buy brand new items, they usually go to traditional malls to buy it. It's no surprise to anyone since traditional offline malls are usually the place we go to when we want to buy something growing up. Choosing online shopping can save the local online customers some time and money.

How can online shopping really benefit us as a consumer? As for online shopping, local online consumers can do it wherever they go. Money spends on usual travel expense going to the location of traditional malls can now be saved by customers. It is one of the issues that Lazada was facing when they established their online mall website in the country. The online community of the country was actually hard to tap by online malls. Probably because the majority of the Filipinos are not credit card owners or Paypal account users.

It's obvious that we are not comfortable or very trusting in online transactions. We are actually aware of the possibility of having online scams and frauds in online shopping. The industry of Ecommerce in the country is now on the verge of rising as an online industry. It's quite an amazing feat for Lazada to achieve what they achieved on Ecommerce in less than a year. For them to show their customers that they are real, they came out on TVC during primetime on top local channels. How the limitation of Ecommerce was solved by them? An alternative payment method was offered by them called Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. It's an online payment option that is not offered by online stores usually.

This is a risky payment method for any online business owners. With Cash on Delivery or C.O.D., customers don't need to pay right away unlike with other payment methods were it is required to pay right away. Customers can pay cash right after their orders are handed over to them during delivery. Customers can keep the payment up until they have received their orders in real time. This is to ensure that scams and frauds won't happen if they want to deal with them.
